Aahh... Mariah Carey, the diva of all divas.
Fresh from her kitten-free Christmas Light switch-on, the Mariah Show well and truly hit town yesterday and a guestlist crammed with celebs was there to witness it.
Pixie Lott, Rupert Everett, Alan Carr and James Corden, Kelly Brook and Geri Halliwell all headed down to the elite London night spot, Jalouse, to help Mariah celebrate the launch of her album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (actually we're quite surprised she included the Imperfect bit).

X Factor chiefs have lined up Sir Paul McCartney to be the special guest star on the show's live final next month.
The former Beatle is in talks to take to the stage on December 13 for his first appearance on the hugely popular ITV series.
If Macca signs, the theme for the grand final would be Beatles week, which has been postponed from tonight's show.

Ed and I had so much fun making a video for you last week that we decided to do it again this week.
And every week until you stop calling me a man and Ed a lesbian in the comments section.
In other words: WE'RE HERE TO STAY.

Mariah Carey's request to have 20 white kittens at a Christmas lights switch-on in England has been blocked.
The diva reportedly wanted the young felines and 100 white doves to accompany her at the extravagant switch-on ceremony at Westfield shopping centre, in west London.
She also requested to be showered with butterfly-shaped confetti - her favourite insect - while standing on a pink podium and waving a magic wand.
You know what? I guess I am a diva in many ways! When it comes to certain things, yes, I can be difficult and a little bit rigid about what I want. -Mariah Carey

As you may know, Transportation Alternatives put on a red carpet premiere Tuesday night for the " Biking Rules " PSA competition at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
"Why Biking Rules" and "Street Code."
Videos in the "Street Code" category encourage people to use lights, bells, stop at red lights, ride with traffic and generally ride safely and courteously.
"Why Biking Rules" is pretty self-explanatory.

It's not just that Carey's performance as Mrs. Weiss, a social worker, is so good, which those who saw "Glitter" in 2001 might find surprising.
It's that she is almost unrecognizable, looking very much like an overworked woman in the 1980s who doesn't have time for makeup and such, and nothing at all like the diva we know and expect.
Carey spoke recently about the role, as well as the look.
